The Time Has Come...

This blog will be disabled and closed down no later than 8/20/2014 I cannot moderate/babysit at this time and I have no new information in regards to Ayla's case to continue any relevant blog posts. If new information becomes available to the public from LAW ENFORCEMENT regarding Ayla's case any relevant posts I decide to write on the matter will be posted to www.unitedforayla.com Read into this development what you will however after 8/20/14 you will need to discuss it elsewhere. Thank you all for your support and interest in Ayla's case and I hope with blogs disabled, more meaningful efforts such as grid searches of Maine, will be done to continue to help Ayla.

    1. It is definitely no one's fault and I hope many of you will keep in touch via email. I just feel that there is nothing more these blogs can add to Ayla's case. Thank you Dana for being a strong supporter for justice.

  2. Wow, Tori! I didn't expect this, but certainly understand. I thank you and Katie for creating a forum for Ayla discussions...we all know it wasn't easy, and at times downright ugly.

I wish you the best, Tori.

Take care, and thank you again for the energy you have devoted here.

  3. As with all things there comes an end, I am saddened to hear this though.
I'm not surprised, and have been expecting it.

Even though there were few new blog post, this blog did serve a needed purpose in Ayla's case. At least that's my opinion.

I too wish you, Tori & Katie, all good things in life.

    1. I really hate to do it and will miss you all but I just don't have the time to devote to it anymore.

I wish you all the best and have grown very fond of so many of you.

    2. I will miss you A1 and I agree it served a purpose.

  4. When you say disable and close down does that mean we won't have access to the posts or comments anymore? Or just shut it down for further comments like Jeff did u4a before he took it down.

    1. When you attempt to access the blog it will bring you to a page that says blog does not exist. I will leave it up for a few days for you to copy any posts you would like. Many older posts are still accessible on U4A.

I may just disable new comments however before I can do that I will have to delete comments attacking individuals and honestly I just don't have the time.

I had warned numerous times before that personal attacks were not going to be tolerated and I would shut the blog down if they didn't stop, lately it seems that the only purpose this blog serves is to sling shit at each other.

    2. Tori, I fully understand your decision to end the blog, but why take it all down? Did Jeff ask you to do that?

      Delete
    3. Jeff had no knowledge of my decision until after I posted the blog post here stating my intentions.

    4. The only personal attacks I've seen recently have been Jeff's on McKeekitty and Dana. It's a shame you had to close the blog because of him.

  5. To Ayla,

I'm sorry, kid. I tried to find answers for you within these blogs. With so many people acting so shady, I was sure I could find a clue to bring you home. Now the blogs are disappearing and I don't live close enough to search for you. I hope you know that I did my best.

    To Everyone Else,

Some of you are very dear to me and will always hold a special place in my heart. Some of you I don't know, and don't care to. Best wishes to ALL of you.

    1. I feel I know you, Anonymous...I feel our paths have crossed in the past...

As Dorothy said to the Scarecrow..."I think I'll miss you most of all..."

I have no doubt you will continue to champion for Ayla, but it will now have to be via your own creative spirit and wits. It is sad that yet another outlet has been shut down, and I don't particularly care for the alternate route being offered.

Why must there be a "Monopoly" game regarding Ayla?

Did Katie participate in this decision?

Anywho...if you are who I believe you are...thanks. And if you are not who I think you are...thanks (only sorry for the cryptic comment!).

I will miss you, Foil and Dana. A1 and I will cover the fort as best we can.

      Thanks buddy...

    2. Kitty, I will miss you as well! I haven't posted over at FFA since I last said I would no longer do it months ago, so I guess this is good-bye for now. :( (The Anonymous above is not me if you were thinking it is...)

  9. A few myself included thought LE possibly messed up the investigation early on. A lot of others did not think this was very likely.

Jeff's answer to emails had this statement: despite the contentions regarding “The Case for Trista”, I fear that the echelon politics of our legal system have blundered the most highly published criminal investigation in the history of Maine.

Anyone else have any thoughts as we don't have long to discuss this here?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Dana, I don't understand why Trista needed to have a case in the first place. This isn't supposed to be about Trista but about Ayla. So why is there a need to make a case for Trista?

      Delete
    2. Well I think it is interesting that Jeff says there are "contentions" about TC4T, but no one has been discussing it. We have been discussing TC4A. TC4T was about clearing Trista's name...

As far as the investigation being blundered, well, when you have both sides of the family lying, of course they are going to make mistakes. If Trista had bothered to tell the truth from the beginning, maybe LE could have gathered more evidence and Justin would be arrested by now.

    3. An anonymous over at FFA brought this up:

"time will tell on us all" huh? just a weird statement I am surprised on one else has mentioned this

Anon, I noticed this as well. Jeff needs some Depends. He is leaking all over the place.

And to PennyAuntie over at FFA: Honey, your dots are showing..

      Delete
    4. I noticed it. To be told on means you have a damning secret. For reasons unknown he is projecting blame onto everyone. Why he states that "time" will do the telling is odd. So I have no idea other than wtf,

    5. Maybe something is about to be released/revealed about Trista that Jeff doesn't want being discussed on these blogs. The only one he can clearly control is the FFA blogs, so the other blogs have to go.

Maybe that's why Missy deleted all her posts on her For Ayla blog as well. No post means no comments.

    6. Tory already said: Jeff had no knowledge of my decision until after I posted the blog post here stating my intentions.

No big release no nothing - she told you why she is shutting it down. There is nothing more to it. You give Jeff way to much power he doesnt control Tori.

      Delete
    7. Jeff doesn't control me. This blog closing has nothing to do with anyone controlling anything except me taking back control over what I need to focus on in life. Nothing is being released about Trista or even Justin for that matter. There have been no new developments which is the whole point! There is nothing relevant to talk at this time.

    8. Thank you Anon above, we cross posted. You said it better than I could :)

    11. Tori you invited Grace to this dogfight by attacking her on your previous post. It's a bit like sour grapes to tell her to go away now isn't it.

    12. Actually people make assumptions on who they think a anon is when it may not be the person they think it is. It could always be just someone else trying to get a rise out of you.

You're assumption about control is wrong anon. You give Jeff too much power. MM and I are the only admins at FFA. Lee writes for the blog and is an editor. We are the only three. Jeff has nothing to do with FFA. He has no admin or editor rights. He has no control over what we do, say or post at the blog. If he wants to comment he does it like everyone else does. If he has something he wants to say in a post form he'll email it to us and we decide whether or not to post it.

    16. Sorry Dee, but I don't believe you. Not for one second. Jeff is behind the scenes, but he is definitely behind your blog. When and if something comes out negative about Trista, the proof will be in the pudding.

      Delete
    17. I think Dee gets the benefit of doubt here. She as others at FFA may agree on some of the opinions Jeff has, but that doesn't mean he runs their blog. If that was what he wanted he would have left U4A up and had more control.

I believe they have taken what little LE has stated and formed the foundation of their beliefs on that. jmo

    18. You don't have to believe me anon, that's your prerogative. I simply wanted to set the record straight. I don't like being seen as a puppet. It is not true. Why do you insist on giving Jeff so much power? He has no control over me. He had no control over me at U4A, he's certainly not going to control me on my own blog :)

Plenty of negatives have come out in regards to Trista elsewhere. If and when something negative comes out about Trista that has a bearing on the case and is pertinent to what happened to Ayla and/or where she is, it will be published. But that's all conjecture at this point.

    1. Dee...you and I have always had a love/abrasive relationship.

I know I would be the first to jump in the rip tide if you were drowning, and feel you would do the same for me.

      That said...

You have all encouraged me to submit a guest post...not my style. But I HAVE suggested topics...

Perhaps posting "Revisiting the Blood Evidence for the 105th Time" would be better with, "Let's view Trista's interviews." Or, let's look at Trista's conflicting comments?" Or, "What gives with Machiasport?" "Or why won't CG respond to her role in crafting TCFA?" "Why does Jeff state Ayla is back in court for DHHS charges?"

Mind you...I'm just touching the tip of the iceberg...

You folks on FFA don't touch this shit

These are legit questions...and only the tip of the iceberg.

Again, our conflicting feelings aside, I'll have your back...always.

But some "balance" would go a long way...

      Anywho...wishing you well, Dee.

  16. Just a thought:

Dana, I apologize for my “temper tantrum” (seems to be a popular theme for me nowadays:). yes, there are times I believe the things I said about you, but I find the same faults within myself as well. It was wrong of me to single you out.

Kitty, for what it’s worth; After reading your comments and given the choice between Carmine’s version of your phone call and yours, I would believe you. Suffice to say, If you ever met Carmine in person you would understand why. However, your not going to get any answers from the Fazzi’s, only the ones you want to hear and it does not excuse your reasons for calling in the first place.

Tori, I love you like a sister. I know that sounds bad after the wicked witch comment with Judy that you were privy too, but that is just our way of kidding. Sort of brings us closer at times, but I was never as close with anyone in the quest for Ayla as I was with you. Words cannot express my gratitude and I will always stay in touch with the heart that touched me.

Everyone else, I believe these forums have become unbalanced by those who are self serving and those who still want answers for Ayla. Unfortunately, there are no new developments in the case for Ayla and I fear that it will only get worse for the people who continue to blog about her.

It’s only natural for people to choose sides and shoot the messengers, but we lose a lot of good commenters' because of it.

Personally, I’m not going to defend the Case for Ayla or the Case for Trista (what’s the point) but I will say this.. once again:

The Police have said that a kidnapping did not take place.
The Police have said that Ayla is probably dead (State Police’s missing person’s website)

The only question is.. why is that? ..and excuse me for saying so, but who cares what we think? ...ok, that's two questions, I'll give you that.

Anyway, take care of yourselves and when you have a sec, look back in the archives of Justice for Ayla. In her glory she was a beacon and a force that was United for Ayla.
