Motive for Murder?

I wrote a post the other day about Justin possibly killing Ayla in order use the insurance money to put a down payment on a Truck to start a business as a truck owner/operator. I think a lot of you thought I was grasping at straws here. I had fully intended to do a follow up post about why I believe that the idea of that is not totally outrageous but then I was sidetracked with drama from another site and this post was put on the back burner.

We don't know the answers to some of the major questions surrounding this case and apparently law enforcement doesn't have it all pieced together yet either or at least one arrest would be made in regards to the case. In a case that is unsolved with a small child unaccounted for, you have to look at everything. Even the most mundane details, the things that seem the most ordinary can have a hidden motive behind them. When there is even one iota of hope that Ayla could still be living and breathing somewhere, no stone can be left unturned.

Phoebe brought up Justin's CDL classes, they have meaning in this case. The revelation of him taking those classes may be completely innocent and only tied to Ayla not seeking medical attention but any word out of any mouth of anyone that is involved is worth investigating.

Truth4Ayla's post Lying By Omission brought up some interesting points and many of you commented that you didn't see the relevance. It established something that is very relevant for this post. Justin wanted Trista to abort, he did not want a baby, whether it was because he knew he wasn't ready, didn't want a baby with someone he didn't love, etc. The reason he didn't want a child doesn't matter. He had unprotected sex and Ayla was conceived and Trista wanted her. Is Justin used to getting what he wants and was he irate that Trista went against his wishes and had Ayla anyway? Probably. Trista has said that Justin has a temper and was verbally abusive. There are indications that he was abusive to Ayla. Did Justin decide that he did not want to pay child support and he also didn't want to be tied to Trista for the rest of his life so he premeditated Ayla's murder? Did he also concoct a plan that he would benefit from her murder if he planned it just right? It is possible. It is no more ridiculous to speculate on this than it is to speculate that Trista sneaked into Justin's house in the middle of the night, unseen and unheard, caused Ayla to bleed in the basement while three people slept on, cleaned it up and left the house without detection.

I know that one of Justin's roommates had recently started a job where he delivered items via truck to Mass. Is that when the seed was planted and the plan started to take shape?

We know that Justin's first visit to see Ayla was according to Trista's timeline was 8/27/11. They went to see the Blue Angels. The first day of Justin's CDL course was 9/6/11. We don't know the enrollment period for the class but it is not likely that Justin signed up for it the day before it started, he had to have thought about, checked around and paid in advance for the class. Did he decide all of this prior to his first visit with Ayla? Did he try to worm his way into Ayla's life for the sole purpose of turning this baby that he did not want in the first place into a financial gain for himself? Why did Justin take a CDL course close to Waterville and his home town and not in Portland where he had been living for the past 5 years? Did Justin already know that he was planning on moving home and that he was eventually going to need to take Ayla there to finish out his plan? We found out from Jeff Hanson that the little stuffed dog Ayla clutched in her hands in the pictures was lost in Lewiston at Ayla's aunt's house and did not make it to Waterville with Ayla so these pictures were taken before Justin obtained physical custody of Ayla. These pictures were from one or more of the five confirmed visits Justin had with Ayla before taking her and not returning her to Trista. In these pictures Justin brought Ayla to Waterville to his mother's house, was he already living there? It appears there is a crib and a toddler bed set up in the pictures, were they both for Gabby or were they prepared for when Ayla came to live with them full time? Were they aware of this well before Trista was mandated to go to rehab?

Trista seemed to think that she was the one who set the stipulation that Justin move in with his mother to care for Ayla, did Justin manipulate Trista into thinking she had control over this when he knew that ultimately he needed Ayla in Waterville? Was this how he gained Trista's trust to some degree?

Justin knew that Derek sold Life Insurance, did Justin ask Derek questions about it and even manipulate Derek into asking him to buy a policy for Ayla so he would have Derek's testimony that he approached Justin about the life insurance?

Why kill a baby for the $25,000 needed to put a down payment on a Tractor Trailer Truck? Why was is so important? It would seem petty and materialistic to most people, we would never value an object over the life of our child. Justin isn't most people.

Justin and Courtney Roberts had dated for awhile. Courtney appears to have jealousy issues towards Trista. Who wants their boyfriend being tied to another woman with whom they have had an intimate relationship with? Courtney had been cheated on by a past boyfriend, the father or Ayden, and expressed on her myspace account that she hated men. It is likely that she had trust issues and would not want Justin alone with Trista even if it was to just see Ayla. Courtney was probably seething at the relationship between the two. Trista stated on her timeline that Justin only wanted to visit Ayla at Trista's apartment if she was alone. Was Justin trying to weasel his way into Ayla's life by sweet talking her? Was Courtney aware and desperate to go along with any plan of Justin's to get Trista and Ayla out of his life for good and when Justin came up the prospect of being able to provide for them with his life insurance/truck driving scheme was Courtney a willing participant and that is why she has refused a lie detector and not come forward and told the police what really happened? Was the broken arm the first failed attempt to make it appear to be an accidental death? When the actual deed happened, were the participants not convinced that it would appear accidental and concocted the fake abduction story? Was the original plan supposed to be to claim accidental death and then the indemnity clause on the life insurance policy would kick in? $50,000 would buy a tractor trailer truck outright.

When you factor in the drug angle it is almost scary. Courtney's sister was arrested with a large cache of drugs. How involved in the drug dealing/drug abuse were Justin and Courtney? Courtney lived with Brianna in the house that was raided. Courtney's whole family has had their own run ins with the law. Was drug dealing the family business? Did Justin see how much money Brianna was bringing in and want a piece of the action?

Was the purchase of a Tractor Trailer Truck going to be the means by which to acquire large amounts of drugs and cross state lines with them undetected? Were Justin, Courtney, and Brianna looking at the big picture and seeing dollar signs? A lot of dollar signs...

Drug Trafficking is a booming business with the potential to make an obscene amount of money. One of the most popular ways to transport drugs across state and country lines is have the drugs concealed amongst the items a truck driver regularly transports. Did Justin, Courtney, and Brianna want a piece of the pie? Were Phoebe, Elisha, and Derek in on it or were they just manipulated by Justin? Do drugs play a bigger part in this then we know? Was this a premeditated murder that took months of planning and manipulation on the part of Justin, Courtney, and Elisha?

  1. And with all this masterminding are you really trying to tell me no one had thought to stage some kind of a break in. You make all these statements that these people have devised this plan months before. Funny with all this planning not one person that you think is involved(and the list gets longer everyday from this site) thought well if we want this story to hold water we had better stage a break in. Instead of planting all these opinions in the minds of people why don't you post reasons why she could still be alive. Keep people looking because if there is no proof then why make people give up hope. Give Ayla a chance look for her, work towards finding her.

    1. What about the oddities Pheobe mentioned? Were those set up to look like a break in?

    2. If they staged a break in, it would have complicated things so much more...
      * Need a story to explain how they slept thru the break-in noise, someone would have to physically go outside and break in for it to look real, leaving behind evidence
      * hire someone, leaving another tangible link which is also expensive and risky(rip off-hired kidnapper never shows up, takes your cash, blabs to someone, is a undercover cop, screws the job up, etc...) That is why they did not stage a break in

    3. I've often wondered why they didn't stage a break in as well. That's a good explanation as to why they may not have Emerald. Simply leaving the doors unlocked would be a lot easier than having to stage a break-in, while possibly leaving evidence of their own, proving NOT to be a break-in. Besides, I understand plenty of people still leave their doors unlocked, so this would not even seem so strange, might even show the DiP's were "trusting, small town" people.

Speaking of unlocked doors - Phoebe stated she didn't know if the doors were locked because she was not the last one to go to bed. Obviously, she didn't know because she wasn't there. I wonder if she knew though, that maybe some or all of the adults didn't go to bed.

    4. The blog is about theories of the crime specific to Ayla's death.
There are many love light and hope sites that allow people to pray powerfully for a happy ending as a way of showing Ayla deep respect.

      -----

The kidnapping concoction was Plan-B and occurred after the failed Plan-A attempt to stage a murder that could look accidental collapsed.

The broken arm instead of a fractured skull from the push/fall was just to much details to come back from. The introduction of the baby gate details and its "crashed" condition found by investigators suggests it was supposed to be a part of Plan-A or a prop answering the question of why the stairs were not protected - because the gate was broke and they forgot to fix it.

An accidental drowning in the tub or electrocution in the tub or playing with an electrical socket was the smart play with heart failure and no CPR bringing a swift death.

They are not professional murderers or even studied amateurs.
If they had put the time in to study and and believed in a solid plan
it would have floated through everyone's radar undetected.

      They should have at least studied up on murders and also not done several magor tasks at the same time, that is thinking addled by drug abused minds. The correct plan doing one thing at a time was;

      Acquire baby
      Acquire policy
      Murder the baby
      Attend trucking classes
      Receive insurance payout

    5. I am inclined to think that the doors were reported as locked, and this is why MSP crime lab took Ayla's bedroom window(not PD's? I saw the cops took the window to the crime lab in a n article)to see if it was tampered with, or could be opened from the outside. They determined that neither happened.

  3. Another great article J4A. Justin is devious. I agree with everything you said, but I'm not sure about the truck. Justin def wanted the cash for something, but at this time, I haven't made up my mind what he would use it for. I do believe it would be drug related though. I'm honestly shocked that CR hasn't come forward by now. She has so much to lose and she must realize by now that Justin ain't no prize. Is she still on college? If so, what kind of life does she expect from a truck driver, even one who transports drugs. The risk is too high. She has everything to lose sticking with Justin. The fact Court knows how devious Justin is, but yet she and her son stick with him? Shiver!!!!

    1. Really! I cant believe a woman would ever dare expose her child to the kind of treatment this monster inflicted on his own beautiful daughter. Courtney, if you are innocent you had better turn these criminals in before they turn on you and your tiny child, like they did on poor Ayla, their own flesh n BLOOD!

  4. Anything is certainly possible. The saddest part about this scenario is that Ayla was nothing to any of the players. The thought that a human life could be cast off so easily for $$$$ is sickening. But, I realize that it happens all the time. If this is the case, it certainly would not be the first time that money, greed and drugs took a higher value than a human life. I am not saying that I believe this is what happened. It certainly makes as much sense as a stranger walking through the house, grabbing Ayla and leaving without three adults and two small children even realizing a stranger was inside. Anyway this turns out, it is a sad, sad thing for Ayla and everyone who is truly innocent in this case.

  7. "Trista stated on her timeline that Justin only wanted to visit Ayla at Trista's apartment if she was alone." No witnesses to what he said to her.

J4A, correct or incorrect, I think this is a brilliant theory. It ties together many things. If J did plan to kill Ayla, having her live with him may not have been part of the plan. He may have just taken advantage of the opportunity when it arose to give himself more flexibility in establishing a cause of death that wouldn't implicate him. Possibly he killed her in anger before the plan was finalized, or possibly he acted according to plan but Trista's filing forced him to announce a kidnapping when he wouldn't have otherwise.

He could have signed up for the CDL course and then thought of using Ayla to fund a truck as an afterthought. Maybe his plan was to sell her, not kill her, and maybe the life insurance/kidnapping was a way to get a little extra.

Somehow, though, I think P is also in this deep. I don't think it was J. who was the mastermind.

I do wish Lance would go public with what he knows to honor the memory of little Ayla. From what his friends say, it sounds like he is something of a hothead, but one with a heart and soul.

      Delete
    2. I hope Ayla is alive but I think it's highly unlikely. People will look either way to bring her mother esp. but also the public closure. As far as staging a break-in, I think the kidnapping scenario was contrived in haste. It may not have been part of the plan. J was being increasingly pressured to produce a baby he couldn't produce (Trista had been calling for more than a week; then she filed in court and he may have found out; and there was a broken arm that needed follow-up- if there was no longer a living baby, he couldn't bring her for follow-up and had no excuse for not bringing her) and I think the kidnapping was a poorly thought out act of desperation.

  9. Maybe Justin was just trying to better himself at Cortney's request or demand. I don't know her but it seems that she was striving to be an educated woman with a goal of having a career.
Having a doing not so much boyfriend would get annoying.
    ...
Having to pay child support for a child you didn't want in the first place, also annoying.
Being tied for life to a woman you have no feelings for and who is messing up your life by making you pay child support and intruding into your life with phone calls, etc. could make a person really angry. Going to court is also annoying.
    ..
I think Justin's plan was to get Ayla full time. Let his mother aad sister and Courtney be the ones who looked after her the most. No more child support, no more annoying Trista.
    ..
I just don't see Justin as a planner or a go getter. Seems to have been aimless. But alot of guys his age are and then it starts to change.

  10. I need to come up with a name.

The broken arm interview mentions the CDL course and is very telling. It links Ayla's broken arm to the course with information that is internally inconsistent and can't possibly all be true. The hard part is parsing out true from not true. Police have a better handle on this probably because they know exactly when Ayla went to the ER. Liars tend to out themselves and I think that interview is a prime example. He put enough out there that it's obvious the arm break didn't happen as he described/when he described and he conveniently linked it to the truck driving course for us- no need for us to do so. http://www.onlinesentinel.com/news/i-fell-on-herfather-says_2012-01-06.html

  11. J4A, I don't know if you're able to answer or not. I understand if you are not able to. We know Justin didn't fully remove all of his belongings until a couple days before Ayla was reported missing. He was supposed to move back home with Phoebe per the "custody" agreement, while Ayla was staying with him. Did he not remove all his belongings originally because maybe he planned on moving back into the apartment soon? Another question is, was he already staying with Phoebe or maybe had plans to stay with her, to be closer to school or even some other reason? Some reason that had nothing to do with Ayla?

Btw, I think that EVERYTHING about the case is important. Just because it may have already been discussed does not make it LESS important. Sometimes it takes "studying" something numerous times to come to a conclusion. Something could have been missed. Someone new to the discussion may have important information or a new view, idea or opinion. I don't understand why discussing things (even if they already have been) would upset someone. If it helps bring justice to Ayla, I don't care if the same topic is discussed 5 million times. Also the previous thread, yes was discussed to some degree previously, but J4A offered new information, ideas and views. It def. showed, in depth, the constant contradictions by Justins mouth pieces.

    * Where did Justin actually live from Oct. 17 to Dec. 15- how much time if any did he spend in the apt.?

    1. Transference, the child becomes a mirror and object to study their own inner malfunctions. Interacting with the mirror object reignites loops of behavior from past traumas in a cycle of Victim Abuser Enabler Victim >.
The loop can only be broken by strenuous effort to not play any of the three roles in the loop. Justin saw himself as a VICTIM of Trista so he ABUSED (murdered) Ayla and ENABLES a vast public drama where he once again plays the role of VICTIM.

An infinite unbreakable loop similar to the night as a child he hid in Radio Shack to steal but couldn't unlock the doors from the inside to escape. His mother arrived as the VICTIM - ABUSED the staff ENABLED his escape without consequences and then portrayed herself as the VICTIM to Justin.

The formula has many names and descriptive adjectives for the three position steps but usually is a three part repeating loop of behavior seen in all hardcore pathologies.

  14. What about the person driving a truck in Mass? Could he be transporting Ayla somewhere to be sold to a couple who can not have children? This to me seems like it could be a good prospect. If Ayla could be sold there would be enough money for a truck and money left to split with the other trucker.

Sorry just thinking. What a sad world we live in people have no respect for life they kill their children born or unborn. Where did it all go wrong. Is it right for people to decide they don't want to support their children so they murder them? As long as they can hide the body well enough they can't be convicted. Yet if the state says it is okay you can kill an unborn baby because your not ready to take responsibility for your actions. I guess some day we will have to answer to a higher power for what we have become.

    1. I agree. I think abortion should be for special circumstances, example rape, incest, or a child that is found to have life threatening birth defects and the doctors should handle all but the last issue with the morning after pill if possible.

Birth control is readily available and you can get it for free at family planning if you cant afford it. People need to be responsible and if not deal with he.consequences. The only thing that does trouble me is the psychopaths who have children and exploit or abuse them or both for the enjoyment of it.

    3. I'll only say my belief on abortion is that it is a personal choice. Those who don't want one, don't have one. But don't tell others what they can or cannot do. Until you walk 10,000 steps in that individuals shoes, you are best not to judge what you think they should do. It is legal for a reason. If it were not legal, there would still be abortions. People are not forced to have abortions here. So abortion is a non-issue.

    4. Abortion is relevant to the mindset of the conspirators in this murder it is only being discussed as a function of the progression towards murder and understanding the psychology of the killer(s)

Political discussions on the history practice legalization and availability of abortion is a much broader sociopolitical debate.

In this discussion the abortion issue is a critical piece of the model.

I'm really not surprised, but a little disappointed. I don't know why, I should know better by now. Plus you could tell by the girls clothes that the pictures weren't THROUGHOUT 2 months time (possibly a few dif. days), BUT I thought they were from, at least, that time period, that Ayla was staying there. :( I'm pretty sure Aunt Selena said they were from Ayla's stay at 29 Violette Ave., which technically would not be a lie, but the insinuation (at least) was made that the pics were from Oct 17 - Dec 17... That's so sad Ayla's little doggie got lost :( At least it proves of when the pics were taken though.

    2. Chicky, I am left to assume, a couple different reasons/possibilities. Maybe because they simply didn't take a lot of pictures. Maybe because they didn't care enough to take pictures of Ayla. Maybe they didn't want pictures of Ayla that COULD have evidence of abuse. Maybe Ayla was not there closer to Christmastime. I am very curious to know if there are pictures of Gabby at Christmastime. Near a tree etc.? I could very well be wrong, but I can't understand how someone could want "custody" SO desperately, then NOT have pictures of their child that they LOVE SO MUCH.
Obviously some of the pictures were from the summer. A couple were from Halloween, unless the girls were just playing dress up. MOST of them she has her doggie, so they are not from Oct 17 - Dec 17. A lot of them Gabby has the exact same clothes on, so that leads me to believe the pictures that were provided were only from within a few days time anyway, not within 2 months.

Was it insinuated, as I am remembering by Aunt Selena, that the pics were from Oct - Dec? Either way, thats what the general public assumed, and she/they NEVER corrected anyones assumptions...

      Delete
    3. I think Aunt Selena just said something like, here are pictures of Ayla at Violett St, if I recall, but for some reason, I definitely thought they were from when Ayla was living there, not just visiting. So it seems poor little Ayla was unhappy even during visits. She was clinging to that puppy because it reminded her of home! It is really odd to me that there aren't any pictures of Ayla while she lived there. What about Thanksgiving? Dec 17th is really close to Christmas, why no holiday pictures? Now a days with cell phones, it's so easy to snap a picture. I'm sure someone in that house had a cell phone.
The thing that made me suspicious from the get go was that Ayla was supposedly left alone for such a long period of time. That seems improbable to me, and I just can't imagine not checking on a baby for so long. Just the fact she was all alone when there were so many in the house, having the other babies with someone and Ayla all alone, it just doesn't make sense.
I just pray that something happens soon! It is so sad and so frustrating not knowing what happened to Ayla and where she is!

    4. Ayla was gone by Dec. 16 if not earlier. A lot of people are just putting trees up around then.

There were a couple pics of Ayla outdoors in winter clothing- I don't know when it turned into coat weather in Maine this year, but those could have been Nov. or early Dec. pics.

    5. I think they led the public to believe that the photos were recent, from her time living there, when in fact, many of us pointed out early on that they all seemed to be from the same time period, and likely the same photo rolls, all before her arm break. I cam to this conclusion by following the eruption of her teeth in the pics, and the healing bruises on her face. I now think these injuries are the ones occurred in the fictitious chuckey cheese ball pit, and that the DiPs do not want the public to see recent pics of her due to what they show.

IF you really wanted to find her, why not use her most recent picture, with the cast??

-all of her pics she is at least 2 months younger than she was at the time she was reported missing-that is a lot in terms of toddler growth and facial changes, teeth, hair, etc...
Possible reasons to not release current pictures of a missing child to the media to increase the chances of her being recognized and brought home?
** taken by cops to look thru with all the computers, etc...
      **they didn't have any.
** they do not want to release them for some reason...
Pictures are very telling, and often contain things the photographer is used to seeing every day, things that are so normal to them, they do not consider how it looks from an outside point of view...dysfunctional thinking is like looking at life through a very distorted lens. Look at what telling things were contained in the in the last pictures they released, and she was only visiting at that time...

  19. What about the girlfriend? if she is so supposedly jealous, maybe she had a hand in this...maybe thats the immunity he is looking for. He may be innocent, and she may be the one who is hiding the truth. Neither side, at this point, has any proof the other did anything...only speculation...why dont we hear anything more about what part his girlfriend played in this whole thing.??

  20. Because apparently Courtney is in hiding just as much, if not more than Justin. As soon as this subject gets brought up, certain people go on the defense and start asking what about Trista's sister, Trista's brother, Trista's whoever... NON of Trista's relatives were there when Ayla "vanished", when she was "kidnapped". There was NO kidnapping per LE and their specially trained kidnapping experts.
Why are ALL the people who WERE there when Ayla was "kidnapped" hiding? WHAT are they hiding? WHO are they hiding? And WHERE? The ONLY reason I can think of, why they are hiding and afraid to speak for Ayla is because they are afraid to incriminate themselves, or at the very least Justin.

  21. You raise good arguments, beginning with the fact that while speaking about a child who was reported missing, the child's own grandmother referenced the truck driving school. You correctly identified this as important since she brought it up, but also noting the setting in which it was brought up.

It is very difficult for most people, especially parents, to entertain the notion of premeditation because they, themselves, cannot imagine anyone being so devious. What they miss is that this form of deviancy does not come from a void, but from childhood, abandonment, and exposure to violence. Later in life, violence in smaller amounts has an impact of de-sensitizing the person, making violence more acceptable, even in increasing intensity.

Thank you for continuing to remind the public that Ayla's blood cries out for justice.

  22. Kit, I agree, the answers are with the persons in the house.
And many of the answers are with the MSP. Or coming in from the labs.
MSP have given us a few appetizers and I guess the meal is coming later. Hope there is dessert too.
MSP had that house in their possession for two weeks and I think 2 DA's visited.
If I lived in Maine, I would be trying to do something, even keeping her name out there is a good thing.
    .....
As a side note, blogs / newspapers do not always get it right. I am referring to all blogs, all " comments " in newpaper articles. I really like this one. I can have an opinion and others can have an opinion.
I had read alot about the Tori Stafford case in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada where a little girl was kidnapped by an unknown female person on her way home from school. The blogs and the newspapers went for her Mum in a vile way and blamed her as being the person on the CCTV. It mad me really angry that the Mum was gutted by blogs and in the media. ( She admitted she was under treatment for an addicition , that was her " crime " )
We could see it wasn't her Mum on the tapes. The real female perp confessed & is serving her sentence. She turned in her partner and he is on trial right now. We were all invested in this one up here and when the announcement came in at my work that Tori was found,we all sat at our desks and sobbed like children. A child was dead, all hopes for a return were dashed.
    ...
Afterwards, her Dad bicycled across Canada raising awareness and raising funds for a missing children organization. He had police escorts along his ride and LE was suppporting him. Rodney Stafford was a rock and a crying mess at the same time.
He was and is still Tori's Champion and he is a special hero to me. He was out there every day and so was her Mum, even tho she was under attack from the nasty peeps in our world.
    ........
Contrast this behaviour to the DiPiertros and the persons in that house who will not speak and I guess you know where some of my assumptions come from, just based on the contrast in actions.
    ........
BTW, persons in Woodstock did come forward to the OPP and reported the suspicious activities of the female perp afterwards, once they saw the CCTV and were sure they knew who it was. They even started watching her and how she dyed her jacket, changed her hair and tried to disguise herself.Every tiny, tiny little piece of info led to this trial that is on right now. And they have the right perps.

    1. I don't know anything about that case, but it goes to show what innocent parents will do to find their truly missing child. I wish people would give Trista some credit for owning her addiction. She did the right thing. How can someone be belittled for choosing their children OVER their addiction? Should she have continued with her addiction, denied it, chose it over her children? She def. made mistakes, but at least chose the right path after. You can never go back and erase mistakes, just move forward and learn from them. It's sad, while she was "down and out" someone saw this as an opportunity and JUMPED on it. Were they hoping to use her addiction against her, hoping the detox didn't work for her? I commend her for making the right choice. It's too bad she will have to think that this choice resulted in whatever happened to Ayla. Yes, it will be argued that it WAS her fault due to her addiction to begin with. I have to politely disagree. Ayla appeared well taken care of, happy and healthy while with Trista. Some, but not ALL alcoholics inflict abuse on their children. Trista chose at a very young age to address her addiction. Some people NEVER do this. She could have very well given up on her children and chose alcohol, but she did not. I'm sure Justin's secrets will come out soon enough, because just like he said, the truth WILL come out...

    2. I think Trista has faced the facts and is helping to lead public awareness away from painful longing hope towards practical strategy of trying to keep a eagle sharp eye out for Ayla's body.

Trista is a lot more mature than I was at her age and I didn't sober up until I was thirty. I stopped driving after several accidents, but I kept drinking. She's doing good and must have some kind of belief system to draw on. Alcoholism is widespread in my family and child abuse was not an issue other than small occasional shortcomings related to low wealth.

For a bunch of dopers and drunks to take advantage of the one who tries to get clean and sober is a drama I saw many times in my nine trips through detox-rehab. It really shakes up the social structure of addiction social groups.

I think Trista was either coached or very savvy in this last interview
reaffirming by implication that there was no kidnapping, blood was found, Ayla's is still missing and Justine thinks this is a clever game with him as the star player. The idea that reality won't even begin to sink in until he hears the foreman's verdict. Even then he'll be in jail along time until he realizes a prison cell is his final destination.

I wonder if it has occurred to Justin he shall be the anti-hero on some of those true crime shows. I don't watch them unless I don't have cable and get stuck with the over the air selection.

  23. J4A,
I am working on an analysis of preemptive deception and SA, and how the guilty use preemptive lying to deflect suspicion from evidence, minimize significance, "suggest" ideas, and lead a conversation to distract or avoid answering something sensitive or that could implicate or incriminate them...
I will be using this to compare the DIPs and HT's, et al... statements, and what we know of the evidence, and LE's statements to show that they have indeed been deploying this subtle manipulative tactic since day one, and will use other well documented examples and research from other cases to support each point haha a short scientific paper ... Interested?
It will take me a little bit, as I am having surgery next week, so will be doing it during my 3 month recovery :D

    1. Emerald, I just don't see the DiPietro's and Tudela's as being that intelligent. I think they are operating on dumb (emphasis there) luck (or at least they think they are). I am sure that LE has every intention of solving this case and I place more faith in LE's abilities to find the truth, then I place in the DiPietro's and Tudela's to hide it. JMT

    3. you do not have to be smart to use lying and deceit to cover your tracks before someone sees them...the dumbest idiots do it successfully.
I am interested in establishing a pattern in their statements that fits with the evidence...and shows what they are covering...if you look at MC Escher's art, he often used objects merging into one another to frame objects in negative space...we are seeing the objects(lies and excuses in statements, evidence) around the negative space image(the event that caused Ayla to bleed over a cup of blood in the basement). The lies and contradictions, sensitive material, and evidence are the object that frame it, point to it, lead back to it- and JD, PD, ED, LD, CR and the Tudelas, even in indirectly. I have a funny feeling it will not be too long before there is a huge break in this case...

    5. to Anon post above...
there are hordes of dumber criminals than the Dips...they are not stupid, just totally defunct in a moral sense. I have no doubt had they been adopted out at birth, they may have been quite smart, and successful, and loving parents, too
Their Mom phoebe, and her family dumbed them down, never gave them ambition or goals or integrity or expectations to do well and be honest and forthwright...they weasel out of responsibility instead of standing firm and accountable, except when it comes to violence, as it is their ole' faithful, and they own that one proudly like rednecks and trucks. It is their family crest.
Their mistakes that I speak of analyzing are like freudian slips, a connection to the emotions and intellect, and to an experience or memory to ground their lie to. They are not stupid, just evil, corrupted and ignorant. Remember, too, these same people were innocent little babies and kids once too...something made them grow up into what they are today

  24. I just read that Lies isn't the Tamara Merrill, who is a long time infamous Internet abuser, but instead she is Teresa Jean Dargis. Is it possible there's more than one of these sickos who prey on missing baby cases?
Does anyone know for sure who Lies is? TIA

    9. Is she claiming to have seen the drops in person, in pics or 2nd hand info from JD(hello operator..)? If it is pictures, then where did she see them? I doubt LE would give out copies to JD or anyone, so if not pics, then perhaps they are doing "tours" of the crime scene to convince their supporters how ludicrous it is to think a child died down there..."look, its only 4 tiny drops...see, i told u...I'm fucking innocent, man!!...wait, what's Loom-in-uhl? Is that for making rugs or sweaters or something?"

      Delete
    10. Yes Emerald, I don't know if it was here or SA, but it was questioned as to how she could have seen it. LE took over the house. If there were 4 drops visible, wouldn't LE have removed it somehow for evidence? Then that leaves the pictures JD was shown. LE wouldn't have shown them to HT, it's evidence, not public info.
