Message from Lost n Missing

I received an email myself from Lost N Missing today and I think it deserves to have it's own page and not be a comment at the bottom of an old thread. The information is important and relevant and I appreciate you all taking the time to read it.

As President/Founder of LostNMissing Inc., I would like to address a few posts. Mainly to Forever Searching:

Our organization is 100% volunteers and to this date we have never received a single donation for or to honor sweet Ayla Reynolds. We do not promote events for our organization as you stated.

Events for families of missing are exactly that...for families of missing. We do not collect donations for LNM at family events. We do not manage family donation funds either. They are entirely separate.

We do our own separate awareness for LNM funding through email campaigns, social networking sites and other marketing means. Last year our donations was 85% funded by myself and a few of my staff members out of our own personal incomes. Sad to say but many people do not donate to nonprofits that are not huge corporations such as The American Cancer Society or the Susan G Komen Fund. Perhaps it is because they do not see the work we do or cannot relate to the work because they have never experienced a loving family member go missing. Our records are public and can be found on GuideStar.

Your comment of "I think their interest once they're involved is not limited to Ayla but the bigger picture for themselves." is missing many components. Mainly the fact that we are 100% volunteers, myself included, and work 7 days a week around the clock, 365 days a year for families of missing...many of us, myself included, hold down full time jobs...and nowhere is this for "ourselves." We are exactly as approved...a nonprofit working for families of missing loved ones. Certainly bringing awareness to who we are and what we do is a positive as unfortunate as it is...Ayla is not the only missing loved one and many families do not know organizations such as ours even exist.

People cannot come together to read poems and stories in settings that are advertised as there are liabilities and insurances involved, which is costly and it takes a minimum of one month to plan an event when a park or larger area is needed. Due to the number of attendees the location cost LNM $175.00 for use of Monument Square. Missing Posters cost $126.00 and of course there are numerous other expenses involved, as well. Churches would not allow us their space due to liabilities of a "crowd" of people and because they hold AA meetings and do not want their members caught on a media camera. (Which are reasons they gave us.) Hence is why we needed to do a park location.

I like the comment in which someone mentioned the underwater camera and will bring that to Ayla's family in case they may not be aware of that need.

Trista publicly invited Ayla's paternal family to this event and while it may be difficult for other residents of Waterville to attend, due to location, it should not be a problem for the paternal family as they are known to come and go in the Portland, Maine area for many months...and years now.

The Laura Recovery Center has never heard back from Justin or any of family since early January. They've sent numerous messages, phone calls and emails and have not received any return calls. LostNMissing Inc has never had a call from anyone from the paternal family. Perhaps they are guided by lawyers to not speak to anyone?

Hopefully this answers some of your questions and thoughts.

Respectfully,

Cynthia Caron
President/Founder
LostNMissing, Inc.

    1. One thought is that if the father and his family think that the maternal side of the family has Ayla then doing a nationwide search through the Laura Center probably does not make a whole lot of sense.

    2. Anon 4:14,

One thought of my own is that if what you say is the case, which i do not believe, the paternal side is doing exactly what they are accusing LE of doing! Being closed minded to all possibilities. Isn't that the motto of both TLLOM and JSTL?

      Delete
    3. anon 4:14, If the dips REALLY thought the maternal side had Ayla, they would be shouting it to anyone that would listen, constantly - to LE, Laura Recovery, the public, everywhere. Dips are arrogant, violent, people - not shy at all. No, it's obvious their plan was to stay mum, and hope LE can't "prove" who did it.

    4. John P, you are absolutely right, supposedly no one in the house heard or saw anything. Even if they thought Trista had Ayla, they wouldn't close their minds to other possibilities. ttlom and jstl have an agenda and it's in no way open to all possibilities.

    5. I think the only agenda they really have now is to stay out of jail, at all costs.

    3. LNM, no need to explain, those of us with hopes of finding Ayla know what your organization stands for. Jeff and Trista are working with you as is the maternal family. We know this as well. If anyone loves Ayla or wants Ayla home, they will work with your group, with LRC, with LE and with whoever they need to work with. All that matters is everyone I listed is working to Bring Aylla Home!!!!

    4. I have the UTMOST RESPECT for Lost N Missing, and their generous caring, and volunteer work.

However, I do not think it is up to you to state what the paternal family can & can not manage.
I'm sorry, I think that statement brings a negative light to your organization.
That's just my honest opinion, no disrespect meant.

Thank you both for your unquestioned devotion to doing what is right! It is people like you who fight endlessly for the missing, that give the rest of us our faith that Ayla will be brought home!

I wish I could attend but unfortunately I can not. I know this is going to sound wierd but what is Ayla favorite type of cake? My family and I would like to participate if even only in spirit. We will have a piece of cake with the supporters of Ayla.

    1. Thank you John, you are an amazing person and I hope many others follow your lead. How great would an underwater camera be? Color copies are .29/each 100 posters= $29.00, it adds up quickly and every little bit helps. We need to keep Ayla's name out there! Thank you for your comments here and it was a wonderful idea to show people how easy it is to go to the page and donate. :)

    5. Justice4Ayla,
Many times Staples and Office Max will make b/w copies for community residents that wish to have posters made. The posters that we provide our families of missing are made in California and shipped direct to the families. The reason they are more costly ($126 for 500) is because they are made of 80# paper and have a special aqueous coating on both sides which keeps the colors vibrant and weather-proof. The colors will not bleed as color copies from a printer will do if it rains or gets wet.

*We ask that those who pick up posters at Ayla's event on Wednesday to always ask permission of stores to place in their front windows.

*Do not obscure incoming patrons from the window view (front center of door) as that can pose a danger to an employee who may not be able to view who is coming into the establishment.

*Bring tape so that after obtaining permission you can hang the poster yourself so it does not become lost on a counter top.

*Never hang on city property. This includes street signs, telephone poles, etc.

*The best places are always high-traffic areas such as mini marts, strip malls, gas stations, bus depots, etc.

      Again, thank you.

    6. Emerald, I think I read in one of the search related articles, each camera is over $400 dollars. I can't find the article now but I think one of the contributers on A4A might know of the article I speak of. Sorry I can't be more specific.

LNM Thank you for the great information concerning the posters. I hope they produce some great results. Please keep up the tireless effort to Bring Ayla Home!

    7. If someone could locate where it was said the MSP needs an underwater camera, I would be most appreciative. I've looked and cannot find anything. I know they've used such devices in the past and for the recent search for Ayla, however, I do not know if it was loaned or brought by experts with the camera experience. Thank you.

    8. Sorry LNM
I can not find the original article, but I believe it was a reference to a Texas Serch group that had the camera that MSP did not have. Maybe the Warden Service or a member of the MSP Underwater Recovery Unit can provide a bit more info for us.

  7. Should I post the threats the LIES supporters sent to my 3 fake Facebook accounts? I initially copied a bunch of their Little Scam of Maine threads and was threatened by HT and AH with copyright lawsuits! These two budding barristers looked pretty foolish when I and other SA posters quickly refuted their claims. Nice blackmail attempt.

They think because they ae the only ones who can float red herrings? I was actually amused when they said I was Peter, Ashley Pouliot, Colin, VTLadty, JustinDidIt, Shannie, Tori, Jeff Hanson, LE, and the coup de gracie,,,Trista herself!

Threaten me agan HT. I dare you. I will even contact you with my actual email and name if you email me yourself. I will even share with you a few posts I captured which reveal a very different HT than the usually calm and collected poster you pretend to be.

You are not in control dear. You actually offend me.It was very difficult for me to start a career in my field being a member of the perceived weaker gender. As a mother I honestly thought you would have pulled out of this by now knowing what you know. I miscarried 2 times in a calendar year and was told I cannot have children. For you to be a Mother and be blessed with children I am mortified you would support a father who appears to have hurt and/or disposed of his own daughter. Does your hypocrisy know no bounds missy?

I actually understand why you are doing this. I cannot say for certain if I would do the same as I do not have one. I actually respect your loyalty but feel it is time for you to remember what it was like to give birth to your own sons. Don't think of Trista or Justin. Think of that little Angel who seems to be no longer with us. Just close your eyes and imagine what happened. LE will easily cut deals for you and your son. Why dig in and put your life in the hands of a jury who may convict you. I would never risk this, though I will never know what it is to have my own son. Honor your blessings instead od desicrating them.

    1. Yeah this asshole doesn't know what she has got herself into...The threats and blackmail are just overwhelmingly stupid.

Guess who else has a few Facebook accounts? Hmmm, well, let's just say I see all and know all. So maybe TLLOM should start fingerprinting and having their members show ID before they go concocting bullshit scams and preaching crazy defenses for baby killing fuckheads.

    2. @Miss Heidi is quickly learning that LE does not take kindly to blackmailers who aid and abet baby murderers. All of her threats have earned her a big, red X on her back.

It will go nicely with the red light she throws in the Bay window once a month so her clients who journey to her Neo Victorian Estate know she will not be working for a few days.

That was innacurate, Heidi has probably gone through menopause already and is free to hook all 365 days. I guess the career change was made necessary after every one of her daycare clients pulled their kids.

    4. It speaks volumes that Tori Gifford would allow a post like the one posted by the Anon at Mar 31, 2012 08:39 PM to remain on her webpage. That post was obviously written by a vile and disturbed person, yet Tori proudly allows such trash to stay on her webpage. That is inexcusable. I do hope that LE looks into the threatening and intimidating posts on Tori's webpage.

      Delete
    5. Not to speak for J4A, she is very capable and able when she feels it is appropriate, but Yes it does speak volumes. It speaks to the fact that people are allowed to post thier opinions without the fear of being bashed for having an opinion. Tori is just that kind of person and WE appreciate her for it. Think about it, if you were on JSTL or TLLOM and gave a persons name your post would be deleted immediately! Needless to say, your post is still here!

    6. Pathetic. John, the post falsely accusing a woman of being a prostitute is not freedom of expression, it is defamation. It is obvious that it is false and malicious and yet Tori allows it to be posted on her webpage. Yet Tori deletes posts that don't agree with her opinion of the case. She has deleted many of my posts. Freedom of speech here? No. Freedom to defame, insult, harass and spread lies.

She may decide to delete it after she sees it, she might not! But I will respect this blog and blogger either way. Now I have better ways to spend my time then agreeing to disagree. Isn't it a tad PotandKettlish' for a JD supporter to bemoan a smack talking post? Does anyone think Heidi is an actual prostitute in the traditional sense? Shucks NO! If she were practicing the world's oldest profession it is she who would be homeless. She is not what I would call a "looker" nor is that Hag friend of hers Mrs. Scary.

I think the author may have been drawing an analogy between prostitution in a classical sense and prostituting the memory of an innocent child for monetary gain. IMO, it was quite effective and I sense no deception in the statement.

Does everyone "need to get their facts straight"? Pheebs needs to cut the bullshit already. No one believes a proven liar. That Little Cult of Maine needs to stop mooching and stealing from the public, trying to pass their phony "fund" off as legitimate. They're helping no one, but themselves. Everyone on the paternal side of this case is concerned only about themselves. When it comes to speaking out, who are they always speaking out for? Themselves. Start speaking for Ayla, you assholes. Elisha's fat ass may not appreciate being called a liar, but those that love Ayla don't appreciate the blatant bullshit coming from her and her fucked up family. They have swept Ayla to the side and made all of this about themselves and what they don't like, what they don't "appreciate", what it's doing to them. They are selfish son of a bitches, their own words have shown us that again and again. From Courtney's ridiculous self-promoting letter to Phoebe's bitching about "facts". All the have ever cared about is getting out of this unscathed. And seriously, how fucking dare you assholes use Ayla to make a name for yourselves, you self serving pricks of This Little Fraud In Maine. You too, Just Can't Get Laid, you lying, shit disturbing cunt. You assholes think you're getting away with your role in all of this. You're not.

    8. Donations for the Ayla Reynolds Fund is made directly on the www.aylareynolds.com site and is managed by the maternal family of Ayla towards raising awareness for Ayla and they have outlined, or responded, as to how the donations are used.

Donations made to LNM goes towards our foundation that assists all registered families of missing loved ones and explanations on what funding is used for is on the donate tab at http://www.lostnmissing.com/donate.html We are a tax exempt 501c3 nonprofit.

The only exception to the recent LNM donations is that Wordman's donation of $175 will be used expressly for the fee that we need to pay on the night of the event for Ayla's Birthday vigil which is to the City of Portland Maine for rental use of Monument Square.

JohnP's donation reimburses us for the cost of the aqueous coating missing posters that we made for Ayla (and will invariably go towards printing of same posters for another family of a missing loved one.)

    9. Having been involved with non-profit orgs, I can say that most allow a donor to stipulate where their donation can be spent and will try to honor that request. However, it's easier for the organization if the donation is allowed to be used on any case.

I will send my donation via US Mail. You do great work LostNMissing, Inc. and I'm proud to support your efforts.

  13. What is it with the Tudelas? Early on, I figured Heidi was a well meaning, if perhaps naive, person who was only trying to stand by her family friends. Then we learned that the Tudelas offered refuge to the DiPietros plus Courtney and child (who had no where to go!) while the DiPietro home was searched. Next we learn that Heidi was the information conduit for the now poofed TLLOM account of another normal evening at the DiPietros and of the following morning when either Elisha or Courtney (take you pick) discovered Ayla missing and rushed downstairs to look for her. Nevermind that Elisha would have assumed Ayla was downstairs with Justin or that Courtney who had just come up from the basement would know that she wasn't. Then Heidi posts on FB that her so Derek was at the DiPietro home the afternoon of the sixteenth and saw Ayla alive and well. That post of course poofed as well. Next we read of Phoebe's cut foot producing the blood found in the basement due to a laundry mishap courtesy once again of Mrs. Tudela. Next comes the revelation that Heidi's son Derek sold his pal Justin a $25,000 LIP on Ayla. I agree with those who don't think that adds up to a very logical murder for profit scheme, but who knows? Perhaps Justin thought having his best friend as his agent might make for an expedited claim. Then Heidi takes charge of Justin's Sentinel interview to make sure he doesn't lose his temper and say something stupid. The Tudelas are all over this. It makes me wonder if momma bear Heidi is protecting someone even closer to her than Justin. Many have charaterized Phoebe as calling the shots all along. Heidi seems to be driving the bus now, but Justin better hold on because he could be thrown under that bus to save somebody else's bacon.

    2. The most disgusting thing ever posted on the Internet was the Lies blogger captioning Ayla's picture with "Mommy, let me out of here, it's dark". IMO, she will pay dearly for that vicious, heartless, attack.

    3. I think Derek Tudela helped Justin hide Ayla.
Derek is lying about seeing her the 16th. They pulled some scam with the insurance police.

Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any online pics of Derek and/or Heidi Tudela? If you know of any can you post a link or a pic here? If there are none does anyone have a physical description?

Thank you for posting! Wow, what you do is so great! I am so grateful to you and your staff for all that you do! Your care and determination are praise-worthy! Thank you again, and God Bless You. Prayers for Sweet Ayla!

    1. I am curious as to how these old unsolved cases are relevant to Ayla's case. I see no connection at all.

    2. Some have made reference to the possibility that a principle person in this case has knowledge of that case, or may have been somehow involved. Have not seen any proof...... as yet though.

      Delete
    3. Yawn. There were like over 400 people investigated in those two cases. Don't waste our time with old cases in which there could be some tiny, irrelevant connection never proven to the Reynolds, Hanson or Dipietro family members. That is just an effort to distract from the focus of this current case with Ayla.

      Delete
    4. Anon 6:52pm, it isn't YOUR effort, so don't worry about it. A person asked for anyone who would like to help research. If that person isn't you, why do you care if someone else does it? Sounds like you have a stake in this one and that perhaps it should be looked into. Otherwise, you would have just skipped over this particular comment.

And I will say that the principle person mentioned was in the DiPietro family, NOT the Reynolds or Hanson. You would have realized that had you noticed the murder was in WATERVILLE ME.

      Delete
    5. Hopefully LE is looking into this. Sometimes, with the new technology, crimes are solved many years later.

      Delete
    6. WhoDunIt--oh, after 400 people were investigated and years and years and years of LE working on the case, you think you can solve it over the Internet? Too funny!! And now you want to investigate me? Hilarious. So go ahead and start your investigation with me. Yeah. That should be a good use of everyone's time. Let me help you. Ask me when was the last time I was in Maine. Answer: Oh, about 1984. So ya sees it wasn't me. It was Tori. Or maybe it was John. OR MAYBE IT WAS YOU. But I'm sure you won't let the facts get in the way of your fantasies.

    7. They didnt say they were trying to solve the case, drama ,just asked for information. What do you care what they do with their time, your sitting here on the computer too arent you? What are you doing to make use of your time?

    8. I agree that it is disturbing that a DiPietro is assoc. now with 2 criminal cases. Connection? Would love to see J4A investigate this!

    9. Anonymous 6:52 am

Obviously you know about the case, so it is really odd that you would say "Reynolds, Hanson or Dipietro family members", when you must know that Reynolds and Hanson families have no connection to the case.
Seems like your post is an effort to distract people from looking at this old case. The fact that a DiPietro was previously investigated in a murder, regardless of how many others were investigated, or how long ago it was, is relevant to me.

      Delete
    10. Hmmmm... WhoDunIt is Nuts sure does sound a lot like Aunt Selena, anyone else think so? Yup, always on the defensive for the Dips. Believe it, if this old case did have a connection to the Reynolds/Hanson families, Selena and Lies would be ALL over it, but since a Dip was connected, it's not important.

    11. Hi J4A,
Are you deleting posts? If so, Why? Because there was nothing in my posts that would cause them to be deleted, but they're gone. Thanks.

    13. I looked up what I could on Google and found only old newspaper articles and non mentioned any of the people involved in this case...so what is the reason for bringing up this case in the first place? If someone knows the details and they are relevant to Ayla's case then just write the details here...if not, why are you wasting our time?

A very special thank you to John P who donated the cost of the posters, and Wordman, who donated the money to cover the cost of the rental at Monument Square. We sincerely appreciate it. I will be sure that Trista is aware of your very generous donation...as well to DGC who donated $25.00. Your tax exempt letter has been emailed and will be followed up via US Mail along with Always Hope - LostNMissing bracelets. Again, thank you very much.

    3. Kit,

I think there is a mailing address at the bottom of the donations page. Not sure how that would work though. I am sure Cynthia or her staff may have more info on how to donate anonymously! It is great that so many people care enough to help!

If you want to look and see, go to www.lostnmissing.com for the home page and to read about the great work they do. At the very top near the center is the donations tab, just click and the donations page has all the ways to donate! TIA

    4. Thanks LostNMissing and John. I used paypal, so I guess it couldn't be anonymous (that way anyway). I don't have a lot of "extra" money, as I'm sure most people don't, but I desperately want Ayla found. She does not deserve whatever happened to her.
I know the monies donated to LostNMissing do not specifically go just towards Ayla, but still to other missing people, so I split my donation between LostNMissing and aylareynolds.com
It's not much, but every little bit helps, I'm sure.

    2. They are hillarious. They think that throwing out the word sue scares people away from the truth. What a joke. They have already been warned about their blackmail tactics. It is their own Internet thuggery that is being watched, not any posters who are really concerned with finding the little sweetheart.

Nobody will go to support them.

The only people who will go are their own friends whose lawyer bills and bail will need to be paid for. This is a bail/bond fundraiser, guaranteed. They are going to need to much money for their lawyears that none of them will have the cash to get out. Nobody want Justin in jail for even 24 hours before trial. They are terrified what he may say. Why should he go down alone?

    3. Kit,

Thank you for the information. I have no interest in visiting that site, for obvious reasons. I feel terrible that the title of the event doesn't even include her given name "Ayla Bell Reynolds"!!
And Rolling Eyes, I am rolling my eyes with you. Let's hope that by the "tentative" date that Ayla is home with her loving family! (No refunds or transfers - very disgusting and insulting in my opinion)

    4. Very good catch Anon. JD has no job(who in their right mind would hire him?). HT and needs her money for possible civil suits involving blackmail and her son's possible involvement in an insurance fraud scam so the only way they can help their/Justin's cause is to find a way to get him funds without depleting their own resources. Too bad they are showing everyone their true motives by scheduling the event 2 months from now! No urgency, they know it will be a long, arduous, trial.

They are all so transparent. They all know Ayla is no longer Amongst the living and the last thing in the world any of them want is for Ayla to be found. They seem confident she will not be found as only a very select few actually know where she is.

I implore everyone reading this to show support for Ayla by keeping her name on everyone's mind with only resources directly benefitting Ayla. Her father will not even speak for her and the lightofmaine people delete everyone who ask even the most basic questions.

You want to help Ayla? Post her picture all over Maine on light poles, grocery stores, at the corners of 4 way interesections?

    5. Oh believe me, if I decide to go I will not simply be sending a donation. I will be sure my crew gets it's money's worth.;)

  20. We were out last night, so I'm just now catching up :). Cynthia thank you so much for all that you do help return the missing to their families!

Since I'm not local to Maine, I cannot attend the vigil or search for Ayla. So, I decided to do the one thing I can do from here. I followed Kit's lead and donated to both LostNMissing and Ayla's fund.

It's not much in the grand scheme of things, but it made me feel better to show Ayla my support. And also, I wanted to support all of the wonderful people who've given so much of themselves to Bring Ayla Home!

  21. They do not want to answer any questions.
The police are going to have to lay charges.
I'd settle for obstructing justice for Phoebe, Elisha and Courtney for starters. For the lying.
Or, try to get them on drug charges. If they were in any way ( Courtney )involved in Brianna's business.

  22. Mother wants answers.

    Father wants and needs money.

Mother and stepfather answer even tough questions from public.

Justin answers no direct questions on message boards or live tv. He only illicits scripted statements through his handlers. He lies when he says Police have not contacted him. They have tried, he refuses to answer their calls. He will only see them when he is eventually arrested because he has to. He talks a good game when buffered by his Mommies yet I can guarantee you when he is arrested by MSP, he will put his head down and not even look at the arresting officers. He will piss his pants when he faces the man he and his family have been taunting.

His statements are so confident yet his confidence eludes him when asked to give LIVE answers to questions NOT cleared by his handlers. IT is easy to see why for anyone who saw his Today show interview why he has been banned from any live interviews by his handlers. He looked and sounded guiltier than any criminal has in the history of the world.

PD, what will you do when YOU face the man who you call "full of himself?". I am sure you will be tight-lipped and VERY polite.

It is easy to flip off the big kid once he gets off the bus and you are safely moving away from him. The only problem is that big boy will eventually get his chance for a face-to-face meeting.
